Originally from Manhattan, Kansas, Dr. Najar began his dental career in 2003 after earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery with high honors. Voted Best of the Northwest 2021, 2023. After a few years of practicing dentistry, he spent two years completing a residency in Operative Dentistry and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) from Indiana University in 2009. In a further commitment to advance education, 2014 found Dr. Najar in Munster, Germany, with a Master of Science in Specialized Orthodontics from the International Medical School.

Dr. Najar has been certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI) as a board-certified implant dentist. This certification involves passing rigorous tests and defending case studies. It signifies the highest level of proficiency in implant dentistry. As of 2024, there are only 11 board-certified dentists in the state of Washington.

By pursuing advanced degrees and training, Dr. Najar’s practice spans essential care to full smile makeovers. He is an expert in implant dentistry and its related prosthetic treatments, complete mouth rehabilitation, and orthodontics. Professionally, Dr. Najar finds it essential to keep up to date with the latest technology in the field. That is why his office utilizes an advanced CBCT x-ray that not only takes a 3D image of the jaw, but of the airway. It is why Dr. Najar gets the best fit for his Invisalign cases and porcelain crowns by using an iTero digital scanner. It is why he invested in an EKG monitor to offer the safest possible sedation dentistry to his patients. Dr. Najar uses these tools to help patients achieve the SMILE they have always wanted.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Dr. Najar considers himself lucky to call Bellingham, WA, his home, where he lives with his wife and children. His children play sports, and Dr. Najar loves to be a team dad and watch the games. Outside work, his interests include attending social and community events, traveling, and hiking. He is an avid outdoor photographer; you can find him camping with family and friends on summer weekends.
